Planning for Camp

What to Bring:

Bible, notebook, pencils, sleeping bag, blanket / sheet / pillow, towels and washcloth, play clothes, gym shoes, water bottle, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, old pair of shoes for “creeking”, swimsuit (girls must wear a modest one-piece suit).

Optional items: a disposable camera, baseball glove, books to read, and a flashlight, and $5-$10 to spend at Kirkwood Camp Store.

Please be sure to mark all items with the camper’s name.

What NOT to Bring:

Gum, snacks, radio, CD’s, MP3 players, iPods, cell phones, tablets, playing cards.

Camper Check-In:

Registration is from 2:00 – 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 15th at the Main Lodge Building at the Kirkwood Camp and Conference Center. Campers will be checked in and any outstanding balances can be paid. Each camper will find out what “team” they are on, have a health screening by our medical staff, and be escorted to their cabin to meet the cabin counselors.

Camper Pick-Up:

Camp ends at 6:30 pm on Friday, July 20th with a full camp rally at 6:00pm in the lodge, including singing and a PowerPoint presentation with pictures taken of campers throughout the week. We invite everyone to be there as the children close out their week with some great singing.

Do you have Medical Concerns?

Whitewater Bible Camp has a Medical Coordinator on staff FULL-time to treat medical issues that may arise. The staff at Kirkwood will also work with children who have food allergies.
